1. INTRODUCTION

Welcome to Lima Tasty Tours. By booking our services, you agree to the following terms and conditions, which govern your use of our culinary tourism experiences in Peru.

2. RESERVATIONS AND PAYMENTS

  • All bookings must be made in advance and require full payment for confirmation.
  • Reservations are non-transferable unless explicitly authorized in writing by Lima Tasty Tours.
  • We allow you to reschedule your tour to another date with 2 (two) days notice without any extra cost (this is valid according to our availability).

3. CANCELLATION POLICY

Unforeseen circumstances can arise, and we understand changes happen to everyone. Our cancellation policy aims to balance flexibility with the requirements of the providers that make our experiences unique. Please review the specic cancellation policy applicable to the tour or experience you are booking, as details may vary. This information is available on the respective tour page.

As background, it’s important to let you know that when you book a tour, at least a guide and driver are scheduled for that time. Booking a driver and guide may mean that they have to cancel work for other companies or other activities they may have scheduled for that time. Canceling your booked tour less than two days in advance often affects their ability to reschedule that time.

  • Cancellations made more than 24 hours before the tour starts: 100% refund. We will only withhold card processing fees, which vary between 3% and 7% depending on the card used (due to nancial entity, currency and country rules).
  • Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the tour or “no-shows”: no refunds.

CANCELLATION POLICY FOR NAZCA LINES & HUACACHINA EXPERIENCE TOUR

  • Cancellations made more than 72 hours before the tour: full refund minus a 10% administrative fee.
  • Cancellations made between 24 and 72 hours before the tour: 50% refund.
  • Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the tour or “no-shows”: no refunds.

4. REFUNDS

  • Refunds will be processed within 30 business days using the original payment method.
  • Processing fees ranging from 3% to 7%, depending on the card issuer and currency, will be deducted from the refund.

5. TOUR MODIFICATIONS

  • Lima Tasty Tours reserves the right to modify the itinerary for safety reasons, weather conditions, or other unforeseen circumstances, without compromising the overall experience quality.
  • If services are canceled due to factors beyond our control (strikes, natural disasters, etc.), no refunds will be issued.

6. LIMITATIONS ON LIABILITY

  • Lima Tasty Tours prioritizes your safety and implements every precaution to ensure it. However, by registering for and participating in our services, tours, and experiences, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms: Lima Tasty Tours, including its founders and staff, is not liable for any injuries or illnesses arising from travel to or from activities, participation in tours, or the consumption of food prepared or recommended during our experiences. This includes tasting sessions, cooking classes, market visits, street food, or restaurant meals. While we uphold strict food hygiene standards, we cannot assume responsibility for any illness resulting from food or beverages consumed during our tours or activities.
  • Lima Tasty Tours acts as an intermediary between clients and third-party providers (transportation companies, restaurants, local guides, etc.) and is not liable for damages, injuries, or losses caused by these providers.

7. PARTICIPANT REQUIREMENTS

  • Participants must inform us of any food allergies, dietary restrictions, or physical limitations before booking to ensure a suitable experience.
  • We recommend all participants have valid travel insurance covering accidents, illnesses, or any other eventualities.

8. LATE ARRIVALS AND PUNCTUALITY

  • Participants must arrive at the meeting point 5 minutes before the tour starts.
  • Arrivals exceeding 5 minutes will be considered a “no-show” and will not be eligible for a refund.

9. USE OF IMAGES

  • By joining our tours, participants agree that photographs or videos taken during the experience may be used for promotional purposes unless otherwise specified in writing.

10. JURISDICTION AND GOVERNING LAW

  • These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of Peru.
  • Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Lima.
